Aircraft Beacon Tower

The Millerbernd Aircraft Beacon Pole is designed to meet or exceed FAA specification, AC 150/5340-21 for tubular steel beacon towers. It is manufactured using 16 sided, vertically welded, formed steel shaft secions, made of high strength, low alloy steel.

Standard equipment includes:

• Round beacon service basket
• Galvanized service steps, 6" long and 12" apart on alternating sides, starting at ground level. (Double steps at heights of 5ç, 2ç and 1ç from pole top to assist entry into service basket)
• Pole climber (cable assembly using 3/8" stainless steel cable)
• Reinforced handholes at base and intermediate locations
• Anchor base with six 1 1/2" anchor bolts
• Internal wire guide nipple with insulating bushings
• Standard heights available are 51ç, 62ç, 75ç, 91ç, 108ç, 129ç and 152ç

The Aircraft Beacon Pole is available in the following finishes:

• Factory finish paint
• Prime coat finish
• Weathering Steel
• Hot Dip Galvanized

Note: The following design criteria must be supplied in order to quote:

• Wind speed and gust factor required at location
• EPA of beacon (and obstruction lights if required)
