Stainless Steel Lighting Standard
Tenon Top Pole

Corrosion resistant stainless steel with a sand-blasted frost finish is used to create an octagonal tapered pole with an elegant appearance that will resist corrosive atmospheres. The Stainless Steel Jr. was designed for use as a decorative lighting standard in water treatment plants, oil refineries, beach front seascapes, industrial plants and other locations where lesser material may not survive.

The model SJR is constructed from high strength type 201L stainless steel which is .0721 thick with an after fabrication minimum yield strength of 60,000 PSI. It features an integral tapered base which encloses the anchor bolt hardware for protection from the atmosphere and vandalism. The Stainless Steel Jr. pole is designed for most tenon mount luminaires and is striking with turn of the century or traditional styles.

Specifications:
The SJR Lighting Pole is manufactured from high strength American made type 201L stainless steel which is .0721 thickness with an after fabrication minimum yield strength of 60,000 PSI. The SJR is furnished with a tapered octagonal shaft and a welded in place stainless steel tenon top with 2 3/8î O.D. The anchor ¿Aî base is made from 304L stainless steel plate. Anchor base poles shall be equipped with a 3î x 5î hand pole with a reinforced frame. The handhole cover is secured with a single tamper-resistant screw. The enclosed ¿Hî base and the base plate shall be fabricated of the same gauge and high strength 201L stainless steel as the shaft. The ¿Hî base interior is accessible through a 7î x 9î x 8.25î flush mounted service door with a reinforced opening. The service door is secured with tamper resistant screws. The anchor bolts shall be galvanized at least 6î on the threaded end. Each anchor bolt shall include two galvanized nuts.
