 High strength Millerbernd Futura tapered square poles are an elegant
addition to any commercial lighting project, from shopping malls using contemporary architectural designs to the natural settings of parks and boulevards. Their gracefully tapered square shafts and chamfered
corners naturally enhance the appearance of square, rectangular or round luminaries.
Futuras tapered, enclosed "H" base maintains the distinctive symmetry of the square configuration from ground level to the top of the pole. Anchor bolts and pole wiring are concealed within the base behind a
rugged, flush mounted, tamper resistant access panel. Millerbernd Futura is the ideal combination of durability and attractive design for all environments.

FUTURA Tapered Square Lighting Standard
The Futura shaft is fabricated from high strength American made (ASTM A572 or A588) steel with a minimum yield strength of 50,000 PSI. The modified square shaft is formed with four wide flat tapering sides with
narrow chamfered corners, which taper to an eight sided octagon at the pole top. The pole top may be fitted with either a tenon top, a side mounting face plate, or an integral inclined beam luminaire arm up to 6 in length. The
pole shaft is fitted with a tapered "H" base which is designed to conceal and enclose the anchor bolts in an attractive, tamper resistant enclosure. |

2) Wind load includes a 1.3 gust factor, consult factory for AASHTO requirements
3) Tenon top and luminaire arms fitted with a 2 3/8" O.D. slipfitter
4) Pole is available in factory finish paint coat, prime coat, weathering steel finish or hot dipped galvanized
