Model SS - Straight Square
Lighting Standard

This attractive yet very functional lighting pole is designed for use with square styled luminaires and decorative luminaire clusters. It can be furnished with either a tenon top, or a pole cap along with side mounting holes drilled to fit specified backets.A base cover, four anchor bolts with galvanized threads and galvanized nuts, plus a bolt template are included.

Finish
Choice of factory finish coat, prime coated for painting or galvanized.

Shaft Material
A one piece straight square pole of cold formed electric welded structural steel tubing with a reinforced handhole a cover and an electrical grounding lug. Material is High-Strength steel with a minimum yield strength of 50,000 PSI.

Base
Flame cut steel base plate joined to the pole base with continuous exterior and interior welds.

Notes:
(I) Other sizes available. Check with factory.
(2) Maximum EPA recommended at 80 mph plus a 1.3 gust factor. Exceeding this maximum nullifies Millerbernd's warranty and any liability.
(3) Weight includes pole and base. Does not include weight of anchor bolts.
(4) Specify luminaire style, quantity and mounting details.

When ordering poles:
Insert (-1S) for Top Tenon, (-IFS) for side mount or (-2FS) for twin side mount.
Specify Tenon size (2" pipe x 6" LG STD) or side mount hole layout.

Notes:
1. Foundation design must be specified or approved by a structural or civil engineer.
2. Millerbernd recommends that no grout be used between the pole base and foundation.
