|
Model
“E” Lighting Standard
Millerbernd introduced this graceful
design, the first of the now popular davit-style standards. It has
strength without braces, beauty without ornamentation. It will stay
modern because its beauty is that of a strictly functional design. |
|
|
Model “LD”
Lighting Standard
The integral davit mast arm eliminates fittings
and braces. Simplicity of gracefully tapered octagon shaft and curved
arm makes this pole less subject to style obsolescence. |
|
|
Model
“N” Lighting Standard
The gracefully curved mastarm is bolted
to the tapered octagonal pole and braced for rigidity. The curved
mastarm raises the luminaire 1 foot above the pole top. |
|
|
Model
“V” Lighting Standard
A popular model for street and highway lighting,
shopping centers, parking areas, “drive-in” businesses. Pole is
tapered octagonal with a straight upsweeping arm reaching 3’ 3”
above the pole top. |
|
|
Model
“MV” Lighting Standard
Recommended for street, highway and
area lighting. The pole shaft is tapered octagonal, similar to “V”
model, except modified with a truss arm for heavier duty applications.
The mastarm rises 3’ 3” above the pole top. |
|
|
Model
“MV” Long-Span Lighting Standard
Long-Span braced mastarm gives greater
rigidity and allows greater set back distances from the roadway.
Recommended for highways and parking lots, particularly those with
landscaped medians |
|
|
Model
“Y” Lighting Standard
The high-rise mastarm gives this model
a clean, functional appearance favored by many architects. The 5-foot
arm rise offers extra luminaire height at a more economical price.
Widely-used for area lighting in shopping centers and by “drive-in”
businesses. Pole is tapered octagonal. |
|
|
Model
“MY” Lighting Standard
The high-rise mast arm model has a tubular
brace for extra rigidity. Pole is octagonal, gracefully tapered.
Similar in design to model "MV" short span, except with
a 5 foot arm rise above the pole top. |

|
Model
“MY” Long-Span Lighting Standard
The high-rise mast arm model has a tubular
brace for extra rigidity. Pole is octagonal, gracefully tapered.
Similar in design to model "MV" short span, except with
a 5 foot arm rise above the pole top. |
|
|
Model
“Z” Lighting Standard
Similar to "MV" Long-Span model, except
with a gently curved, braced mastarm. It is often selected by designers
and architects as a better design alternative. Mastarm curves upward
to 3 feet above the pole top. Recommended for Interstate Freeway
Systems where high speeds demand positive illumination of exits,
entrances, bridges and signs. |

Model
“Median Barrier” Lighting Standard
Millerbernd designed this special standard
to fit on top of the eight-inch concrete median barrier. The pole
is octagonal with gracefully curved davit arms. |
|
|
Bemidji
Decorative Lighting Standard
The Bemidji model is designed for turn
of the century luminaires and is built with an elegant tapered,
fluted shaft and a beautiful octagonal stainless steel base. It
uses an upswept double scroll luminaire arm secured at the pole
with a decorative cast finial top. |

Fairfax
Fairfax offers another unique design
for turn of the century applications. It features a tapered fluted
shaft atop a smoothly tapered flared base, which encloses the anchor
bolts. The Fairfax supports a gently curved scroll braced luminaire
arm affixed to a decorative cast finial pole top. |
