Median Barrier
Lighting Standard

Millerbernd designed this special standard to fit on top of the eight-inch concrete median barrier.

Rectangular tapered base fits top of barrier. Large access door permits easy nut running; accomodates electrical gear.

The pole is octagonal with gracefully curved davit arms, a design which matches the Millerbernd Model E or LD series street lighting standards and blends well with other designs.

The "H" style base conceals the mounting hardware which improves appearance and eliminates the need for nut covers or collars. The large, flush-mounted access door is fastened with tamper-proof screws. The tapered base design sheds dirt, moisture and winter de-icing salt.

Shaft Material:
High-strength, low alloy steel with minimum yield strength of 50,000 PSI; minimum tensile strength of 70,000 PSI.

Finish:
Choice of Millerbond Factory Finish, Prime Coat, Self-Weathering or Galvanized.
